New Hospitalist TeleMedicine Program

There's a possibility you may receive inpatient care, from a doctor located off site, starting this month. This telemedicine program delivers the care you need via a cart.  A nurse will be in the room with you during the visit. This allows the best possible care to be delivered to you, as conveniently as possible. Hutchinson Health is excited to be one of the facilities implementing this technology.  HealthPartners has been using Telemedicine at four other sites for the past year, with great success. Construction on Clinic Entrance

Celebrating National Radiologic Technology Week to recognize the vital work of R.T.s across the nation. This week is scheduled around Nov. 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895. At Hutchinson Health we take this opportunity to celebrate all our staff, at our clinics and hospital, that work in all areas of imaging. Pink Lights at the Cancer Center

Check out our pink lights at night!  The Cancer Center is part of an initiative to spread awareness during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness.  HealthPartners buildings are lit pink all month. This is an annual campaign to equip people with the information and resources they need to spread awareness within their own family and circle of friends. Hospital Auxiliary Donates New Urgent Care Equipment

A huge thank you to the Hutchinson Health Auxiliary for their recent donation to our new Urgent Care area. Their donation provided: 1 EKG Machine 10 Exam Tables 2 Procedure Room Tables 1 Vital Signs Monitor 2 Procedure Room Exam Lights 2 Scales (one adult and one pediatric) The donation totaled over $50,000.  We so appreciate their commitment and dedication to healthcare and our community.  The proceeds from the Hospital Gift Shop and Thrift Store are used towards their mission.  Please thank the volunteers, visit these locations, and consider joining/volunteering for this dedicated organization.  Call  Anna Harvala for information (320) 484-4513. ... Disaster Drill at Hutchinson Health Tuesday, September 25th

Disaster Drill – September 25, 2018, 5:30-7:30pm Hutchinson Health is participating in a mass casualty disaster drill with area partners on September 25th from 5:30-7:30pm.  .  The drill objectives are to: Test our disaster triaging system Test our processes in the disaster treatment areas Practice setting up the family assistance center Test communications with Law Enforcement and EMS Test the hospital incident command structure and emergency operations Test emergency communications to off duty staff for assistance This is a great way for us to practice so we are ready in the event it is ever needed to be instigated.
