Mark Martens, CRNA Awarded 2019 Clinical Preceptor of the Year

Hutchinson Health’s Mark Martens, CRNA was awarded the 2019 Clinical Preceptor of the Year Award from the University of Minnesota Nurse Anesthesia Program. “This a great honor and speaks to the valuable, high quality clinicians we have at Hutchinson Health”, Brandon Thiemann, APRN, CRNA, DNP, Anesthesia Medical Director, at Hutchinson Health.  The nomination came from students that have trained with Mark throughout the last year. Hutchinson Health Recognized by Minnesota Hospital Association for Excellence in Quality and Patient Safety

Hutchinson Health has been recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) for superior performance in quality and patient safety. ·         MHA is one of 16 Health Improvement Innovation Networks in the country. ·         The networks are created by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ·         The overall goal is to reduce patient harm and 30 day hospital readmissions. Dr. Mulder receives the Good Catch Award

Dr. Steven Mulder is officially retired as of last Friday. During his last week at Hutchinson Health he received the Good Catch Award, from the Minnesota Hospital Association. It was a well deserved recognition for him as he moves to his next chapter of life. Dr. Mulder spent many years working towards the betterment of health care for the entire state. New President for Hutchinson Health

We are pleased to announce that James (Jim) Lyons will be the new President of Hutchinson Health, effective Friday, April 12. Jim brings extensive experience in hospital and care group leadership to our team, making him uniquely qualified for this role. He has served in multiple roles with Hutchinson Health dating back to 1996, most recently as our Chief of Clinic Operations. In these roles, he has been instrumental in our work to integrate our hospital and medical group, develop a culture of quality improvement and build strong partnerships with our community. As a leader, Jim has shown a commitment to improving the health and quality of life for the people of Hutchinson and the surrounding communities. HUTCHINSON DIABETES EDUCATION PROGRAM MERITS ADA RECOGNITION Hutchinson, MN, February 2, 2018 – The prestigious American Diabetes Association Education Recognition Certificate for a quality diabetes self-management education program was awarded to the Hutchinson Health Diabetes Education Program on February 1st, 2018.
