  1. 1 apple, diced
  2. Dash of cinnamon
  3. 1/3 cup apple juice
  4. Dash of nutmeg
  5. 1/3 cup water
  6. 1/3 cup quick cooking oatmeal, uncooked
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine apples, juice, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in oatmeal.
  4. Cook on medium for 1 minute.
  5. Cover and let stand 3 to 4 minutes before serving.
  1. Serves 1. Per (1 cup) serving: 200 calories, 2g fat, 0g saturated fat, 0mg cholesterol, 300mg sodium, 45g carbohydrate, 6g fiber, 4g protein.
