Hutchinson has 24 Little Free Library houses and counting! You can find these in neighborhoods as well as local businesses.
It’s a “take a book, leave a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories (from kids reads to adult novels). In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too!.
If you are interested in more information or adding a library at your residence, please contact Sarah Hingst at 320-583-8833.
More about Little Free Library:
Hutchinson’s Little Free Libraries began in 2014 with a group of community volunteers wanting to increase opportunities to build social connections through Heart of Hutch’s Connect Wholeheartedly committee.
