Hospital Visitor Restrictions

To protect everyone from Influenza, Hutchinson Health has the following hospital visitor restrictions:

  • No one with current symptoms of illness will be permitted to visit (i.e. fever and cough or sore throat, body aches, headache, tiredness, and stuffy nose)
  • Staff members who observe visitors with obvious symptoms of illness will ask that you leave and return when you are well, for the safety of all our patients and staff.
  • All visitors, including children, are required to perform diligent hand hygiene before and after interacting with patients.
  • At the discretion of the Clinical Care Team, only immediate family members or primary caregivers will be permitted to visit our high-risk patients (i.e. Oncology, Newborns)
