Hutchinson Health Birth Care Team

girl looking at ultra sounds photoYou’ll be able to find a family physician or OB/GYN to follow you through pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Your provider will make sure you understand your labor and delivery choices and address any concerns or questions you have. You can expect your physician to check on the health of you and your growing baby at each checkup. You’ll listen to your baby’s heartbeat and can expect to have an ultra-sound at a time your physician feels it’s most beneficial in your baby’s development. You’ll have time to ask questions and get the information you need during each stage of pregnancy.

Helping You Prepare

Hutchinson Health offers specialized classes during this time in your pregnancy to help you prepare for labor and delivery. This includes personalized tours of our beautiful BirthCare facility and suites.

Packing for Your Stay

We recommend packing the following items ahead of time and bringing them with you to the hospital:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Nursing bra
  • Loose-fitting clothes for mom
  • Toiletries
  • Receiving blankets
  • An outfit for baby to wear home (something with legs — gowns don’t work well with car seats)
  • Two to three diapers
  • Car seat

Great experience! I would highly recommend anyone to this hospital for a delivery.
