Pediatric Therapy

Hutchinson Health offers comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation services. Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Our pediatric therapists are experts in a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions.

Our goal

Is to help your child achieve their highest function and improve their independence. We offer specific therapeutic interventions customized to every child. We work with families to incorporate these therapeutic games/activities into your daily life to help improve your child’s overall functioning.

Physical Therapy

Hutchinson Health offers comprehensive physical therapy for children of all ages. Our physical therapists are experienced in assisting children to achieve gross motor milestones such as: crawling, walking, sitting, throwing, jumping, running, etc. They also have experience in evaluating children for adaptive equipment and in choosing appropriate equipment to help a child thrive in their environment. Physical therapy can improve your child’s coordination, endurance, strength, balance, flexibility and much more.

Pediatric physical therapists treat a wide variety of conditions and diagnoses. Below are some common examples, but is not a comprehensive list:

Your physical therapist will work with you and your child to create a home exercise program to help continue therapeutic activities into your child’s everyday life.

Occupational Therapy

Hutchinson Health’s Pediatric Occupational Therapists work with children of all ages. Occupational Therapy can work on improving things such as fine motor skills, body awareness, motor planning, self-help skills, attention deficits, sensory integration, feeding, and self-care skills.

Hutchinson Health’s therapists work to treat a large variety of conditions and diagnoses including, but not limited to the following:

Hutchinson Health’s Pediatric Occupational Therapists are both certified in SOS feeding program and have experience treating kids of all ages and of all skill levels. They will work with your child to develop therapeutic strategies and exercises to address your child’s needs.

Speech Therapy

Hutchinson Health’s Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists work with individuals who have difficulty communicating as well as swallowing. Our speech therapists are certified in the SOS (Sensory-Oral-Sequential) Approach to Feeding which is specialized for children who have many factors that impact their willingness to eat.

Meet Our Team

Jackie Dietz, CCC-SLP

Jackie graduated from Minot State University with a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders in 2011.  She has been with Hutchinson Health Pediatric Rehabilitation for 4 years. Jackie can evaluate and treat multiple communication and swallowing disorders.  She enjoys working with pediatrics and seeing the progress each patient gains from session to session.

kim sobiechKim Sobiech, OT

Kim is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with pediatric clients. She has additional training in therapeutic listening, sensory processing, SOS feeding technique and Handwriting Without Tears program.  Kim loves working with kids and parents to help her clients reach their goals. She has also been a Certified Infant Massage Instructor since 2008.

dana hamilton

Dana Hamilton, PT

Dana has over 20 years of experience working with pediatric clients.  She graduated from the College of St Scholastica with a Master’s Degree.  Dana has additional training in kinesiotaping and infant massage. She enjoys helping kids and their families achieve goals that are important to them.

danielle kingDanielle King, OTR/L

Danielle graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2011. She has an interest in all pediatric conditions and assisting children with achieving their highest level of independence in all daily activities. She is skilled in providing services to progress fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and sensory processing skills.
