Celebrating National Nurses and Hospitals Weeks

Two smiling nursesThe Week of May 6-12th is both National Nurses Week and National Hospitals Week

National Nurses Week

National Nurses Week is a time to honor the contributions nurses make to direct patient care, as well as their role in advancing health in our communities. During National Nurses Week we celebrate those who’ve chosen a career in nursing and encourage those considering a future career path in the nursing profession.

Thank you to our nursing staff for your exceptional care and compassion you provide to our patients at Hutchinson Health.

National Hospital Week

National Hospital Week raises awareness for the importance of hospitals in our communities. Each day there is a joint effort at Hutchinson Health to offer choices, care, and support to patients. Our physicians, nurses, technicians, administrative and support staff work together to advance the healthcare in the communities we serve.

It’s a campaign by the American Hospital Association that recognizes the economic mainstay hospitals make in supporting 16 million jobs across the United States. Hutchinson Health, #MyHospital stands with the more than 5,000 other U.S. hospitals in providing patient care to all our communities.
